Our Capital Campaign
Saving Even More Kids from the Street
To be young, homeless, under-educated, and unemployed in California is a potentially hopeless set of circumstances. But, the youth at Covenant House California come to us because they are ready to make positive changes to better their lives. They are ready to leave the streets.
They are ready to work for futures filled with hope and promise. And, they are ready to rise above and change their circumstances despite the many challenges they have to overcome.
Our challenge is to ensure that we are ready and fully equipped to meet our youth as they make these critical steps of self-determination. However, with our Hollywood Crisis Shelter operating above full capacity since 1996 and without a permanent shelter in for our Bay Area program it has become increasingly difficult to serve the needs of homeless youth. Each night too many kids on the streets have nowhere to turn. |

That is why our Board of Directors has determined a need to embark on a $6 million capital campaign that will establish, build up, and enhance our programs and services in both Los Angeles and the Bay Area.
