Dear George,

First of all, let me start off by thanking you for giving us, Universal Studios Hollywood, the opportunity to volunteer at your Annual Thanksgiving Dinner for the past two years. It's such a pleasure for us to partner with your wonderful organization! I'll never forget the day I met you and visited Covenant House. I knew it was the start of something very special…you and your staff are so dedicated to helping young kids who are facing challenges, and I identified with that immediately. Children are the greatest gift of all, and we must as a society, do all that we can to protect them and keep them safe.

At Universal Studios Hollywood, one of our Core Values is "Do The Right Thing," and we truly live by that motto. As the Manger of Community Relations, it is my job to provide community outreach programs in which our employees can participate. We do a very good job of entertaining guests each day, as they visit the Park. But, we have the ability to do so much more…to give back to the community in such a positive way! Our employee volunteerism has nearly doubled within the last two years, and much of it is because of organizations like Covenant House, which allows us the opportunity to make an immediate impact on the lives of others, who may be facing challenges.

On behalf of our employee population, and our very own non-profit division, the Discover A Star Foundation, I thank you for allowing us to be a part of your family! It was our pleasure to be able to purchase the 10-passenger van that is used to rescue young children off the streets of Hollywood, and I look forward to a lasting relationship in the years to come!
