Digital Dove An HBO Films/CHC Initiative with the support of Time Warner, Inc.

In partnership with HBO Films and with the support of Time Warner Inc., Covenant House California began a new mentoring program in March, 2004 called "Digital Dove." Through their participation in this program, CHC youth learn to use digital cameras and editing equipment in order to chronicle their own lives and the issues that are important to them. The program's curriculum, co-facilitated by mentors from HBO Films and Covenant House California, is designed to build skills in media production and literacy. The program also fosters critical thinking, collaboration, and civic engagement.

So far, there have been two sessions of Digital Dove. Covenant House California is proud to make the videos produced by these sessions available to the public on our website.
